An LMT since 1999, Sarah opened Rooted Integrative Wellness in 2013. She has taught classes and given presentations at Tucson’s renowned Desert Institute of the Healing Arts, as well as the Providence Institute, the Arizona School of Integrative Studies (ASIS), the Cortiva Institute, and Balance Massage School of Vermont. Sarah relishes these opportunities to offer massage students insight and guidance for entering the wonderful field of massage therapy.
 
Sarah has been in private practice since 2001, excepting a brief stint as the vice-president of a tech startup focused on online profiles and scheduling for LMTs—a position that helped her develop strengths she has carried through to today: connecting with, listening to, and learning how to support massage therapists struggling to build a business.
 
Sarah’s motto in business is Community Creates Abundance. She believes that, while everyone’s idea of community may be different, it is undeniable that we need support from people in order to succeed. She has offered this kind of support to practitioners at Rooted for years, in the form of coaching, mentoring, and workshops.
