With a deep passion for clean beauty and holistic wellness, Shay Walts is a Master Esthetician who blends advanced skin care techniques with an intuitive, soul-nourishing approach to self-care. Born and raised in Tucson, Shay has always had a love of beauty and skin care. As a front-desk receptionist at venerable Tucson salon/spa Gadabout, she was immersed in the beauty industry for a few years before deciding to train as an esthetician herself. She honed her skills at world-famous destination spa Canyon Ranch, providing customized facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and advanced technologies to high-profile clientele, all while adhering to the resort’s world-class standards of holistic health. Shay has been recognized for her outstanding work, placing third for Holistic Esthetician of the Year in The Skin Games 2020, an international skincare competition.
A dedicated professional, Shay takes pride in applying the highest standards in working with clients’ diverse needs. “I can work with all skin types, all ages,” she says. “I use cosmeceutical-grade professional Korean skincare products. I do not use anything aggressive, and there is no downtime after receiving a peel. I keep it quiet and dim, so clients can expect to zone out and relax.” Drawing inspiration from her love of music festivals, Shay has created a unique sound-bath facial treatment—a one-of-a-kind experience that combines the healing power of sound with luxurious Korean skincare to help clients deeply relax and rejuvenate. Her goal is to help everyone feel confident and radiant in their own skin, using holistic treatments that blend science with spirituality and nurture overall well-being. In addition to being an esthetician, Shay is a passionate advocate for mental health and suicide prevention, as well as a student and mentor in herbal and plant medicine. She spends most of her free time with family and friends, going to music festivals, and playing with her three dogs and four cats! |
