Rudy J. Avalos, Jr., LMT, HHP, CLC.

Originally from San Diego, Rudy has been practicing massage since 2005. Rudy doesn't consider himself a healer, but a facilitator and catalyst of his clients' self-healing. He has worked in several chiropractic offices, as well as in San Diego's Institute for Specialized Medicine, under its founder, Dr. Alex R. Shikhman. Despite the range and depth of Rudy's knowledge and experience, he strives to always approach his work with a beginner's mind.

Rudy served in the US Navy for nine years before coming to bodywork and has studied several martial arts, including Tai Chi, Qigong, MuayThai, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He teaches kickboxing, Qigong, and meditation at Centerline Movement. His passions include reading, nature, animals, shamanism, meditation, spiritual work, crystals and stones, sports, and hiking.
