Rob felt the call to help people from an early age. His formal introduction to the healing arts was in 2008, when he learned the Healing Touch system. This experience allowed him to begin to understand the healing process, its sacred aspect, and the respect it requires of those who would help it along.
Rob’s practice of Chinese martial arts and his studies of biology, ecology, and Taoist philosophy in college naturally drew him to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and to eventually earn a Master’s degreee in acupuncture and oriental medicine. Over the years, he has helped hundreds of patients who have come to him with a wide variety of conditions—from neck pain, to insomnia, to anxiety, and even idiopathic conditions that had no explanation but were made simple through the lens of TCM.
Rob loves to help alleviate pain in his patients and is committed to continually improving his ability to do so. He finds fulfillment in going deep to uncover the issues that keep patients from achieving their highest healing potential and living the life of their dreams. He feels keenly the lack in mainstream medical care of connection between the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. The TCM approach allows Rob to bridge these different dimensions of a patient’s life to bring about true, whole-person-centered, individualized healthcare.
While Rob is known to be cheerful and lighthearted, he is serious about making sure his patients are seen, heard, felt, and understood with compassion and non-judgement. Such a relationship allows practitioner and patient to work together to develop an effective treatment plan that will bring about the desired results. His main tools include, but are not limited to, acupuncture, Chinese herbs, tuina (bodywork), craniosacral therapy, cupping, and nutritional therapy.
Alongside Rob’s passion for healing and medicine, some of his other interests include mixed martial arts, yoga, hiking, playing guitar, reading, listening to podcasts, and anything else that will help him better himself and improve his quality of life.
Rob sincerely seeks to make a difference in people's lives by helping them achieve their wellness goals and allowing them to fully realize their life’s true potential. Rob believes that healing doesn’t stay within your own skin but emanates to those around you and permeates the community, ever outward, making the world a better place.
