Lily is a SoCal Latina, an all-things-wellness coach, a mental-health counselor, a yoga teacher, and an ovarian-cancer survivor. A licensed therapist in both Arizona and Iowa, she has practiced in community-mental-health settings and through outpatient services and school-based mental health in elementary, middle, and high schools. She has worked with unaccompanied minors, immigrant families, individuals, couples, and parents.
Lily believes in treating the whole person—mind, body and spirit—and recognizing the interconnectedness of all aspects of life. She strives to create a safe and nurturing environment where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. Most importantly, she wants her clients to feel empowered to take control of their wellness and equipped with the tools and support they need to thrive. Lily has worked extensively with youth and in Latino family development. She also has training in suicide prevention and intervention and in trauma-informed yoga and has experience in alternative dispute resolution, group facilitation, immigration issues, and health-and-wellness coaching. Today, Lily specializes in young-adult mental health and first-generation-young-professional wellness. Her goal is to help clients unlock a brighter and healthier mindset so that they can go from surviving every day to thriving in their lives. In her spare time, you can find her enjoying a good cup of matcha, running on the trails, practicing hot power yoga, or chasing after her spunky 4-year-old. |
